You Named Your Kid “Adolph Hitler”? Seriously? (Update)

Believe it or not, Heath Campbell and his wife Deborah named their 3 year old child Adolph Hitler Campbell. Oh wait…it gets better. They named there other two kids JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. (Maybe he was going for Himmler but messed it up. I am sure Liz will give me a history lesson).

Why was their right to have children not revoked at some point here? And why are they allowed to put their innocent children through all of this heartache? When Heath A**hat Campbell was asked why he chose the Hitler name, he said it was because no one else would have it. Sure, Heath…that makes perfect sense. It has nothing to do with being a white supremest. In fact, to prove it, Heath even played the “I know black people card”. Good Lord, dude, what in the hell hit you in the head?

Hitler Cake

A**hat and his wife, Mrs. A**hat, look relatively normal except for the maniacal twinkle in her eye and the requisite neck tat on papa Hitler. We are at a point in our society where we are going to have to seriously consider sterilizing some of these folks. They cannot just keep popping out babies with reckless abandon. Normally, I am all for free speech but, when it comes to screwing up children, I’m not having it.

By the way, this all started because the Idiot Family wanted to have young Adolph’s name put on a cake. The Greenwich, PA ShopRite refused to do it saying the the request was inappropriate. However, thanks to the power of the almighty dollar, the local Wal-Mart was more than happy to put the name on the cake. Knowing how classy Wal-Mart is, for a small fee, they probably would have been happy to add on a few burning Jews just for the heck of it.

The deep thinking Heath says that since the new President has called for change, everyone should just accept the name and not read anything else into it. I could be wrong Heath but I am not sure that this is the kind of change that Barry was talking about. With any luck, the Campbell’s will not have anymore children. Although something tells me that if they do, the names Robert Child Rapist Campbell and Sally Swastika Campbell might be their next choices. And rest assured, no one has those names either.

Little Adolph and his two siblings have been removed from the Campbell home by New Jersey authorities. Interestingly, the police chief said he had received no reports of abuse or negligence. A hearing that was scheduled for today was canceled.

So, assuming the kids were pulled from their home because of their names, should the state have that kind of authority? Oddly enough, I don’t think so. For me, that ship sailed when the children were originally named. I still think the hospital administration had a responsibility to challenge the names when the children were born.

Taking the children now, unless there are other circumstances, is just punishing the children. Plenty of kids have douchebags for parents but you can’t go around and collect them all. I am no fan of the Campbells but it sounds like this might be a bit of a witch hunt.

Yeah, I wrote up something on this as well. Worst parents in the world, hands down. Glad we aren’t the only one’s who feel this way.

  2. squirrel says:

This is ridiculous. These people only did it for the spotlight. And those poor children, when they finally grow up and realize who they are named after they are immediately going to want to be emancipated and then change their name. Or they will also become white supremesists and the world will be worse off for it. Let’s hope for the first option.

  3. rh says:

“Normally, I am all for free speech but, when it comes to screwing up children, I’m not having it.”

No, you’re only for free speech if YOU agree with it. You had better hope that people who agree with you are always on top.

Free speech is a funny thing. You have to defend it for your worst enemies in order to preserve it for yourself.

    • tannerleah says:

rh – Not quite. Children have no ability to protect their individual interests. The parent applying THEIR right to free speech via their children is not without constraints. Little Adolph did not consent to his douchebag father naming him. You would hope that a rational adult would step in and defend the child’s interests. In the end, my guess is that the courts would allow Daddy Douchebag to do it anyway but I would feel better knowing that someone cared enough to debate it.

  4. sd says:

You have to admit Hitler was great leader just like Saddam, Jim Jones, Koresh etc…plenty of people drinking the kool-aid. Maybe they wanted a name that was strong and powerful.

I feel bad for the little guy…he’s fixin to get a whippin on the playground.

  5. elizabeth3hersh says:

Many years ago when I was training for a guardian ad litem position (court advocate for children), I had the privilege of listening to a distinguished speaker who said something that I never forgot. He was a gentleman who cared deeply for children and someone who could think outside the box. He proposed that parents should have to obtain a license to have children. It would be a requirement for all prospective parents to attend child parenting classes. For those who would be exemplary parents anyway, the classes would serve to reinforce their good instincts and they would be a model for the other class attendees whose instincts did not come so naturally. The speaker explained that citizens are required to obtain a drivers license, so why not a license to care for our most vulnerable? Some people are not cut out to be parents period. They do not have the education, temperament, sensitivity and moral compass to procreate. Little Adolf’s parents are such people. Child Protective Services should step in. Thank you TL for your level headed analysis and commentary. You hit the nail precisely on the head.

SD: Unfortunately, these children are often home-schooled which further alienates them from mainstream society and prevents them from assimilating into said society. The formative years in a child’s life are critical to social development and world viewpoint. This kid is going to be hard-wired for racism.

    • tannerleah says:

Liz- Here is the response to your proposal from my fellow Americans, “This ain’t China! Free Speech! Free Speech!” Said another way, “This is America and I will do whatever the hell I want to…even if it means being a miserable parent”.

SD is correct, however. This kid is in for a life time of a** whippin’s.

  6. elizabeth3hersh says:

Let me get this straight…so we should champion free speech over a child’s best interests? I completely understand where you and your free speech cohorts are coming from, but at the expense of a child’s malleable brain? Free speech TRUMPS the psychological welfare where a child is concerned? I’m throwing out another question: is this not psychological abuse? The whuppin’ this kid is getting is a mental whuppin’ by his brain addled parents.

    • tannerleah says:

Liz – That is what the masses (well, rh) are saying. As a parent, I have the right to do whatever I want. Free speech!!! It’s the whole “slippery slope” thing. If I can’t name my kid “child rapist” then next the government will take my guns and cable. Pretty straight line thinking.

  7. NY_Husker says:

Kind of reminds me of the song Boy Named Sue. Perhaps it isn’t in the child’s best interest or welfare, but I’m also glad no one stepped in and told me what I could or could NOT name my children.
In the words of the movie”The American President’…”Let’s see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who’s standing center stage, and advocating at the top of his lungs, that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours! Show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms, then you can stand up and sing about the Land of the Free.”
Flip side of the coin. This guy can’t POSSILY be surprised by the reaction. And it wasn’t like he just randomly chose this name, and his other kids are Jenny and Amanda. Their names cleary indicate a patern of belief on the part of the parents in White Suppremacy! Don’t name your child “I HATE BLACK PEOPLE” and be surprise when people react negativey to his name! Yes it was your choise, and certainly the child will have a right to change his name when he’s older(and likely will) but remember the store you ordered the cake from is like most businesses in this country. Right to refuse service at any time! It’s a private busines. They can (and apparenly did) choose not to do busines with you in this particular instance!

  8. NY_Husker says:

SD-Hitler was not a great leader. He was a great speaker, which many people mistook for making him a great leader (and many people today still make the same mistake when they encounte a great speaker!) Plenty drinking the Kool-Aid doesn’t make him a great leader either. It simply means he’s pandering to feeble mind, and they love him! Free thought is one of the greatest gifts to mankind! Those smart enough to see thru Hitler’s BS, fled, etc.

    • tannerleah says:

NY – As much as I love SD, I agree with you on this point. I find Louis Farrakhan to be a fascinating speaker but I pretty much disagree with every word that comes out of his mouth.

  9. Michael says:

As a member of the Armed Forces during the Second World war, I am shocked and angery that these morons would even consider using the name of the most horrible monster of the twenth century.

  10. elizabeth3hersh says:

It is appalling that grown adults would put their “hypothetical rights” before the psychosocial development of a child. Shame on all of you. We concede rights, privileges and liberties on a daily basis so that we can co-exist in a safe environment for the betterment of all. We are talking about a child here. Instead you all are focusing on unfettered access to freedom of speech at any cost, kids be damned. I, for one, will gladly accept restrictions on my free speech based on the consensus of society at large who overwhelmingly will squash the so called rights of the fringe lunatics.

  11. kelly says:

Its more than a name for these parents. I know who they are and this is just the beginning. He’s from Fl.and has 2 more estranged children. Thank god their mother took them and ran as far away from him as she could. Now he has 3 new kids with this one? Childrens services needs to get involved right away!

    • tannerleah says:

Kelly – Agreed. As Michael mentioned, while this guy may think the name is cute or funny (or more likely, feeding his ego) it is horribly unfair to the children and mocks those that lost their lives due to Hitler.

And Liz is also correct. We compromise our “rights” on a regular basis to serve the needs of the many. Do we need to be vigilant about protecting those rights? Of course…but this is a no brainer.

  12. rh says:

Yea, I back up my first amendment rights with my second amendment rights, so it really doesn’t matter what the bedwetters think. Guns keep my real rights from becoming “hypothetical”. This is why the government AND it’s easily fooled pany wastes want our guns.

    • tannerleah says:

rh – I can much more easily understand the “from my cold dead hands” argument. The only problem is the people that might one day decide to take our guns have much bigger guns than we do.

  13. tannisha says:

I dont think the kids should be taken away from their parents. I think the parents should have some serious psych counseling……. But the kids need to stay with their parents. This is a very sad situation.

    • tannerleah says:

Tannisha – I think that is an excellent suggestion. Court mandated counseling. Kids get to stay with parents and maybe someone can drill a little sense into Ma and Pa’s brains.

  14. art vandelay says:

I think these people just need to be shot.

  15. TopMom says:

I don’t think that a child should be removed because of their name either but the news article about the children being removed stated that the family services spokeswoman said that “the children would not be removed simply because of their names.” So obviously these two idiots are doing things that are not in the best interest of their children beyond giving them ignorant crap for names. No surprise here! I just feel so bad for those innocent kids that are caught in the middle of all of this.

    • tannerleah says:

TopMom – I had not read that, although I can’t say I am surprised. No one who puts their children first would have burdened them with such names in the first place. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

  16. anny says:

I know where you stole the line drinking from the kool-aid from. you are busted.
